A pair of clogs usually takes 2 days to make according to the traditional expertise of our Swedish clog makers in family workshops. The wood used comes from Swedish forests, the beech wood grows in great quantity and does not require much water to grow. It's also known for its lightness and quality. Our skins come from Europe, especially Spain which is known for its know-how in tanning.
Our history
Les Sabots de Marie, a company founded in 2009 by Marie, who wants to "decontextualize" the clog, break with the usual clichés, and bring it down to the street without complexes, on a par with a city shoe, while retaining its authenticity. She has a very precise idea of what she wants to wear and refuses to have to choose between comfort, aesthetics or femininity.
Marie wants style, pizzazz and originality. She set out in search of the product of her dreams, and finally found it in the famous Swedish clog, with its seductive design, impeccable quality and numerous models for men, women and children. Raised on common sense, Marie is a pragmatist: what's good for her is good for others. She wants to share the benefits of a tried-and-tested design with feet that are often abused.

So we may not be able to restock skins that were available to make just a few pairs...
